    Microsoft Virtualization Products Delayed
    rickmahn
    by rickmahn  4-12-2007
Unfortunate that MS Virtualization releases will be delayed, but the scope of the products are such that they require a little more time. As I've been watching the development of the "Vista Wave" of products, one common theme of consistency, integration, and quality keeps coming to the surface. This will be true of the virtualization products as well.

Adobe Has No Plans To Make Current Products Windows Vista Compatible
    rickmahn
    by rickmahn  3-19-2007    2
Seems like Adobe either wants more licensing revenue, is having issues updating the current products to be Vista compatible, or simply are more interested in coding the new versions. At any rate, it's a pain for existing Adobe users.

    Vista in the Enterprise
    rickmahn
    by rickmahn  3-16-2007
I disagree in several ways with this article, mainly because I don't believe that Vista is inevitable. Yes, I'll run it at home - along with Linux and OSX! But the enterprise environment has more options than trudging along with the same old Wintel retreads.

I'm starting to get interested in biometric security. Will this really make it simpler for people to use security on their computers? I sure hope so.

I didn't know this, but the remote desktop feature (RDP Client) in Windows Vista supports multiple monitors. Will wonders never cease!

I read about this a few weeks ago and thought it was an interesting concept. eWeek's David Morgenstern has a pretty good article on the topic.
