    Motorola Buys Again
    rickmahn
    by rickmahn  11-14-2006
Motorola is buying network hardware vendor Netopia. I'm interested in how this fits with Moto's purchase of Symbol and Good Technology. Netopia is a home-network focused supplier and the others toward industrial and enterprise solutions. In the context of Windows Mobile devices, this has some interesting prospects with both the other purchases, and T-Mobile's rollout of UMA (which uses WiFi for phone calls when available).
