POPSKentucky Gov. Ernie Fletcher is a BIGOT!!! We thought we had it bad in Texas, but when a governor calls for a special legislative session just to pass a law that contains discrimination, it is much worse. Fletcher panders to the worst part of the far right wing and religious right(oh so wrong) to score points. I hope the good people of Kentucky recognize this for what it is...BIGOTRY at it's worse!!!

He is willing to veto the funding for D.C. just to further his hatred of Gays and Lesbians. Thank goodness this BIGOT will be out of office soon and American can become America again and his ilk will hopefully never be allowed near the White House much less in it again!!!

POPSBaptist Preacher Wants To Play God As if it weren't bed enough that they want to shove their interpretation of the Bible down everyone's throat, we now have Rev. Mohler wanting to play God. Mohler wants to change the sexual orientation fo a child in the womb. He thinks he knows better than God what a child sexual orientation is correct for a child? What is next? Maybe Mohler like some of his other homophobic friends will get caught with a male hooker and come out of the closet. You just have to love these damn hypocrites- NOT!!! They have forgotten that the New Testament contains a message of love not a message of hate. Maybe if they actually Read the Bible instead of thumping it things would be a lot better in the world.

POPSArkansas Legislator introduces bill to ban Gay & Lesbian Foster Parenting and Adoption Yet, another state tries to ban Gays and Lesbians from adopting or being foster parents. This bill is written so that it would also disalow straight but not married couples from being foster parents or adopting unless they were related to the child. Shawn Womack is more concerned with promoting anti-gay laws than he is in protecting children. A Loving Family Home is what a child needs. It does not matter if their are two mommies, two dads or a "traditional" male/female couple.

POPSHomophobia Rears it's ugly head in Amherst This is a horrible example of what has been happening world wide as so called religious and political leaders keep using fear, hate, lies and prejudice to get votes or shove thier beliefs down people's throats. They do not realize that their anti- gay comments do have an affect on the general population. I know there will always be bigots in the world and people who are not tolerant but it worsens the problem when the ultra conservative and the religious rights are not held accountable for their hate spewing.
