POPSCase Studies - Private Bridge Realstone have been involved in many varied projects, using rainscreen, cladding and other building materials. A superb example of what can be done in Natural Stone. This bridge, built in Peakmoor Sandstone, was commissioned by a private client and fixed by Universal Stone.

POPSCase Studies - Sheffield Ring Road The Sheffield ring road opened in November 2007 at a cost of £ 65M. Peakmoor sandstone was used for the walling and the new bridge. Peakmoor was chosen as it is the most prominent sandstone used in Sheffield these days for building. The project demanded high quality stone but one that would blend in with its surroundings. Peakmoor certainly achieves this with aplomb. This section of the ring-road is both functional (it is claimed to reduce journey times) and in keeping with Sheffield’s solid and proud history.
