There is credible evidence that the Vice President abused the power of his office, and not only brought us into an unneccesary war but violated the civil liberties and privacy of American citizens. POPSFlorida's Wexler Calls For Cheney's Impeachment Diane Lawrence of Kendall and a member of the South Florida Impeachment Coalition told CBS4's Gary Nelson ''I have grandchildren and children, and I want them to have a constitution." Simon Rose of a group called Democracy for America Miami-Dade said, "There's nothing radical about what we're doing here. Impeachment is in the Constitution." Wexler, a veteran member of the House Judiciary Committee, hopes to deliver the signatures to the committee in January when Congress returns to Washington. His 19th congressional district, which is heavily Democratic, stretches along the South Florida coast and includes parts of Palm Beach and Broward counties.
