POPSCommonly overused words "When you write, use the most precise word for your meaning, not the word that comes to mind first. Consult this thesaurus to find alternatives for some commonly overused words. Consult a full-length thesaurus to find alternatives to words that do not appear here. Keep in mind that the choices offered in a thesaurus do not all mean exactly the same thing. Review all the options, and choose the one that best expresses your meaning."

POPSThe US is its Own Terrorist I wrote this August 01, 2006. How appropriate now after Bush's State of the Union. Please see .... http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/FA485DF5-5A4D-4186-BB58-BA93A0C85386/

POPSWAR is a racket. This is a free book, and one of the best ever written. Please take the time to at least look at it.

POPSStarship dimensions Ever wondered how big a starship was? This site compares the size of science fiction space craft, to each other, and to every day objects. I didn't find the 'Enterprise,' but it'll be there somewhere.

POPS(doesn't work) Restarting Windows without restarting your PC THIS IS NOT WORKING FOR ME-SORRY FOR POSTING THIS. I think this was possible in Windows 98, in fact I'm sure it worked in Win 98. Can anyone else confirm? I should've check this earlier. A somewhat not-as-good alternative is to kill the explorer.exe process and then relaunch it with task manager, but it's not as clean and you still have some other DLLs and processes running that could be cleared up with a reboot. This will sometimes help if Windows gets frozen and you want to try something before hitting the reset or shutting down. Here's a link that explains how to kill the windows explorer shell: http://www.watchingthenet.com/how-to-restart-windows-explorer-shell-without-rebooting-windows.html I went to the source site to complain about them giving bad information, but the site is down (not surprised).
