EEstor also briefly outlines in the patent a partial business model in which "power banks" using EEstor technology could act as a "gas station" for electric vehicles (recharge time of 4-6 minutes). In addition, it would consume electricity from the grid at night and store it until it was sold--often during peak hours.

It's not in the practical stages yet, but how convenient would it be to charge your cellphone, mp3 player or laptop without having to plug it in? I know in my house, free outlets are hard to come by, so this is something I can really get behind.

Wind power is just one of many avenues you can take for clean renewable energy. It is very clear from the article it all comes down to money. I wonder what else they HADN"T considered.

POPSWal-Mart's Solar Power Pilot Project A step in the right direction. On Wal-Mart's website, www.walmartstores.com, it shows how they plan to implement their low carbon footprint. I see it to be very comprehensive and conscientiously designed. I can't fault them for trying.

POPSPlastic solar cell efficiency I am following this technology to see where it goes and its efficacy. Right now it's in its infancy. Seems quite promising for the near future.
