About me
I will be 44 this October, not that it bothers me, as time isn't linear and finite.

I suffer with spastic paraplegia which may have been triggered by some neurotoxins that I was exposed to in the 80's. (To long a story to tell here)

I love my husband, who is also my carer. We have three cats and a dog, who are my furry babies. I have a 24 year old daughter who was married last June (2006)

I believe in the Abrahamic Faiths, as I believe in G-d and our Saviour.

I have no prejudice, and you won't find me gossiping on the street about somebody's business, whether it is true or not. I hate gossiping, back-biting, and back-stabbing.

I live for a peaceful life and in unity with humanity. I feel that our bodies are just a physical manifestation of our true beings which are made up of love and light. Our bodies are just a vehicle in which to travel, and our souls the driver.
Why I use Clipmarks
Although my interest is in the paranormal; I find that there are so many interesting things happening in our world right from our desktop. If I see anything interesting that I think others would like to see, but unsure of the link, I post them.

Clipmarks is the best way to get in touch with the best sites and the best info online. It is much easier than sifting through a search engine, as the subject may have already been found by somebody else.

It is just really great to be able to share what you find online with others around the globe.

Homelessness-A Global Phenomenon
rachel43
by rachel43  2-1-2008
There is enough food to go around, but the forces that be say it isn't so, but they are soon able to find the money for elaborate get-togethers, hotel rooms, etc. I could go on with the list. None of them have ever tasted homelessness, and there are many sitting on millions and billions of pounds, dollars etc in their private accounts. Yet, there are still people living and dying in the streets. They have no place to sleep, or eat, or changes of clothes.

Faith in the Lord sustains you.

Like this woman, I never stopped believing in our Heavenly Father and His Son. I never gave up on them, nor did I blame them. I drew closer to the Lord then ever before. Although, I am ill now, it is worth it. I am no longer homeless, but am disabled. If that is the way the Lord wants it then it's fine with me. What He has done for me would take an infinite amount of lifetimes to give back to my Heavenly Father and His Son.

I Remember What it is to be Homeless
rachel43
by rachel43  2-1-2008    1
When you are homeless, you don't exist. You fall through the web. People stare at you like you should not be alive. They treat you like you are not human. They think we want to be homeless. Although I am not homeless now and experienced it three times in my life, I know the pain and suffering. I was fortunate in that I had a child was put in a flat without furniture and slept under my coat, while my daughter slept under a blanket. We may as well have been on the street. This happened in America. I am one of the lucky ones; I am disabled now and am unable to help those left behind. What I can do is let people know that the homeless are real people too, just down on their luck, as most of you would say. Mine was running away from a spouse who abused me and my daughter. Surely, there are people in positions to help my brothers and sisters who are still homeless, as I am unable to at this point and time.

How Do You Define This Murder?
rachel43
by rachel43  10-7-2007
I came across this article after a link from another forum. I was shocked that this could happen to a mother about to give birth within a few weeks. It is bad enough when people murder, but the pain this woman went through and the loss of blood through their merciless act and hanious crime. I can see that they will rot in hell as a result of this act. It is bad enough to take another person's life, but to do this to a woman with child and awake doesn't bear thinking about. G-d help them, as they will receive the same mercy that they showed that woman.

A point of note: I am the Rachel that they speak of and my husband told me that the camera is one of 14 in the park. This is a brilliant programme with a wonderful husband and wife team of Kate and Richard Mucci. If you ever want to know the truth about what is going on then watch this space.

What are we coming to when we have to compete to save our lives
rachel43
by rachel43  5-31-2007
I saw this story on our local news just the other day. I am glad to see that it made it to the INSANE section of this website. I can't donate my organs due to my health, although I was prepared to donate marrow. I think it is shameful when those who are ill, are forced to compete for an organ to save their lives. Hasn't science learned yet how to clone organs from stem cells? They are cloning other things on the quiet, why not organs rather than allowing this kind of tragedy where people are literally competing for their lives.
