Don't get me wrong - I think that nuclear proliferation is a bad thing. But where were the French & the Americans when Israel, India, Pakistan etc. etc. were hatching their own nuclear weapons programmes?
Ironic that of all the Middle East countries listed here - Iran is the only one with a democracy. I also wonder how billions of dollars of weapons can counter the terrorist threat that Rice is valiantly battling.
