My suggestion is to lobby politicians to take leading drug companies into public ownership - about as likely as turkeys voting for Christmas.

Alternative medicine practitioners who adopt a rational stance to their profession have to be good liars - if thy aren't then the good old placebo effect doesn't work.

POPSProtecting Children or Covering Corporate Arses? Children should be protected from any threat - few would disagree. However the increasing social pressure to "vet" adults who work with young people undermines the adult / child relationship & fosters an atmosphere of presumed threat where little actually exists. The vast majority of child abuse by adults occurs within families (I speak from personal childhood experience). Stranger danger is thankfully a very, very, very rare occurrence.
