I have had real difficulties tryiong to get my head round all the different dimensions (incles / cms / resolution / pixels / dpi etc9 This page helps with one issue at least: the inches / cms size for prices. Quite reasonable prices. If oyu find a cheaper source, please clipmark it!

Trying to learn how to print A4, A5 and produce a fast enough loading website, is more challenging than ever with the plethora of elements involved these days. This tutorial is intended as a guide to building attractive SynthaSite websites but also takes a look at broader issues surrounding good web design.

    Photo Image Resolution: Avoiding Pixellation
    photocards4all
    by photocards4all  1-8-2009
article ends with... In practice, images can often be reproduced at a lower resolution, especially on exhibition graphics, banners or posters where the viewer will not be especially close to the printed piece and therefore able to spot any pixellation. However, common sense will tell you than an image the size of a postage stamp cannot be enlarged to the size of a billboard!" I have proved this today, printing an A4 page of a photo of 250kb with 800 x600 pixels and it has come out pretty decent for most eyes, I would say, but that's an exception I reckon (good cameras, Sony, this was a 2.1 megapixel that I had years ago!)
