POPSScience Screensavers-Quotes,photos, and Bizarre headlines There are famous quotes, nature photos, and bizarre headlines screensavers. I've clipped the windows download links, and there is a winzip download at the site. There are also macintosh versions. They work on Windows XP although I can't see it mentioned. The quotes are great, and refresh after a few seconds. the pictures are also great. The headlines? I can't do better than bizarre. The pictures are winners in a nature photography competition run by the site. The file name for the quote screensaver, is Adx I had trouble finding it, but the name shows in the box, when they're installed

POPSIf Microsoft Made Cars 8. Occasionally, for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key and grabbed hold of the radio antenna. 9. Every time a new car was introduced, car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again, because none of the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car. 10. Oh yeah, and last but not least . . . you'd have to press the "Start" button to turn the engine off!

POPSTime to upgrade again! What's new in Firefox 1.5.0.2. Invictus: bad news, my man. FF 1.5.0.1 was, like, so yesterday! The too-cool-for-school crowd now runs with the just-released FF 1.5.0.2! It's like treading water just to stay afloat sometimes, huh? (Admission: I actually have too much going on right now to upgrade myself yet. Anyone noticed any extension problems yet? Especially with all-important Clipmarks?)
