POPS2008 Beijing Some explaination for people who cannot read chinese. This painting is a reflection of the imaginary situation across the Taiwan straight. For super-powers are playing games (oriental game, Mah-Jiang) and the other little girl dressed in red is Taiwan. Among the four players: The one face to you is the USA, her upper body is all dressed up, but nude for her lower body (The USA seems very strong, but it actually doesn't have enough power). The girl who shows only her back is China. Her upper body is nude but her lower body is all dressed up. (China hides all its power) China also hides two tiles which is against the rule of the game. The girl laying down is Russin, She obviously is not interested in this game. The last girl between China and USA is Japan who is very focused, but she is also rude all over. (Japan is very interested in Taiwan affair, but it doesn't have the power to play the game). The poorest is Taiwan, please note that she has a knife in hand.
