POPSUS Senator Dumps His Pregnant Dog at Pound
I am an advocate for the State of South Carolina and for Animal Rights, especially "getting your Pet Spayed and Neutered in SC". This is my Animal Care Blog: http://animalcare-sc.blogspot.com/ South Carolina is a wonderful, beautiful and unique place to live. When I hear such discusting displays of negligence and uncaring it hurts my heart to detail it, when it is a blight on my Community and yet another shame for my State. However, this story is already "out there" and it needs to be addressed. One of our SC Senators is grossly incapable of compassion, running his own household, spaying and neutering his pets, and really should not be in charge of other people's lives. It's a shame. But do you really want men without compassion running your State and leading your Nation? So, it's about a dumb dog? NO. It's about the "heart condition" and "neglect of responsibility" of one of our so called Leaders. Lead Men "by example," if not, go sell shoes or "DO" something else!

POPSPoor People Are Fat and A Nation of Whiners Progressive thinking from dinosaurs? Gramm's views have not changed since the 1970's. Where are the stats? What are the solutions? Last time I looked, name calling never actually solved anything. Labling groups of impoverished people and witty adjectives for their plight might make a magazine cover, but in reality it does not make a bad situation any better. The "Al Gore Syndrome" at work agian. Talk, Talk, Talk...soluntions implemented = NONE. Perhaps he'll win the Nobel Peace Prize for his insults and remarkable discovery that "Poor People Are Fat". Pehaps if they stopped whining about us being a "Nation of Whiners" and actually started "doing" the right thing for the "Poor, Fat People" - we could get along towards a solution for the US, and Worldwide, crisis. Roll up your sleeves, Boys, and actually DO something already, will ya!!!

POPSGroup Dynamics and Animosity So, it is simply "human nature" to feel better connected with and trust individuals who share a similar Group identity. It doesnt necessarily mean we have animosity for other Groups...it's just easier to "trust" someone else from our own "kind"...even in strangers. Then again, some people will never get out of eighth grade and thrive on animosity. That IS their Group Dynamic. I wonder if the Government will give us a heap-wampum Grant to study the Group Dynamics of "Clippers" and how we interact with each other? Hum-um? That would be fun.

POPSBeware of Toxic Friendships When you see one who is unworthy... examine your own character. ~Confucius This is profound. Does it mean that when you identify someone who is "unworthy" of your Friendship, you "know" who he is because of some same flaw or quality you recognize within yourself? Either way, you have to be good to yourself first, then share that goodness with others. You first, best and nearest "friends" are the people in your own home. Beware of toxic friendships. Know the warning signs of "users" and "abusers".
