POPSBeware of Toxic Friendships When you see one who is unworthy... examine your own character. ~Confucius This is profound. Does it mean that when you identify someone who is "unworthy" of your Friendship, you "know" who he is because of some same flaw or quality you recognize within yourself? Either way, you have to be good to yourself first, then share that goodness with others. You first, best and nearest "friends" are the people in your own home. Beware of toxic friendships. Know the warning signs of "users" and "abusers".

POPSA Jealous Lover is a Bad Choice - Learn How to Love Right Love is the condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.... Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love the greater the jealousy. - Robert Heinlein, American writer (1907-1988) I love that quote. Bill Allin is one of my favorite modern writers. I follow his published works, as they always inspire me, solve a problem, or give inspiration.

POPSLight A Vitual Candle Online For A Loved One This is so cool. I lit a candle for my beloved Friend, Diane Marriot Mistrot, who died on my Birthday 5 years ago. It will stay lit for 48 hours. I promised her I would always love her and evoke her name often "if" she passed before me....(she promised if she did, she would come back and haunt me - a joke we had, that is no longer so funny.) I miss her so much. She was more than a Friend to me - she was like my Mother. I will always love her. Perhaps you, too, would like to remember someone is this nice way. Evoke their name. When I logged on,there were over 12,000 candles buring for people all over the World!

POPSProcess Capability: Inspirational Quotes from Astronauts The title of the blog post is called "Zooming in and Zooming Out." From a Process Engineering perspective, sometimes you're up to your eyeballs in minutia to figure out the solution to a problem. Other times, it is much better to be able to appreciate the "whole" of a situation to grasp the significance. It's rather like having the ability of "zooming in and zooming out" of focus. On our journey, we deal with our existence related to our situations and circumstances. However, the beautiful words of inspiration quoted here from various astronauts gives a whole new way to think about the process of life.

POPSGoogle Lost It's Mojo? Oh, No! Last year I clipped a Google Graphic and put it on one of my blogs. It was a patriotic theme that indicated Google celebrates freedom. I just thought the pic was cool, is all. The reply was surprising when someone wrote back and said the only thing Google celebrates is "Imperialism." After thinking about it I decided "yeah, so what?" - look at our Imperialist Presidency. Everything is relative. I hate to hear that the actual Google Plants have to raise prices at the daycare - but look at our economy. I use Google. It's a lionshare of my J*O*B! I am in PR - I need Google to love me, rather, my Clients. I guess it "is what it is". Any other company treating its employees badly I would be on the boycott bandwagon...but this news hits close to home. WoW - where does one separate the line between integrity and hypocrisy? Honestly, the only thing I care about is whether the "searches will suffer". Hummm -that might affect my Karma? What do you think?

POPSThe Best Moral Practices of a Leader
I came a cross this article about a SC school superintendent who got pregnant out of wedlock during her watch over a school system that has tremendous problems with teen pregnancy. Some wanted her resignation. Others championed her defense. If that incident leads to some to shout, "Credibility Lost - you don't have the right to lead" - then what of a Vice President, potential Leader of the Free World, not being able to manage her own Family, and producing a pregnant teenager? How can you raise up a Nation when you cannot even raise up and protect your own children? Well, teenagers are sneaky and have a mind of their own. Perhaps US Gov. Palin, the Mother of FIVE kids ought to hire a nanny to watch her kids since she cannot supervise and protect her own brood. Why is it okay to add yet another teen pregnanacy to our Nation's ills? Should all officials in high office be expected to lead by example? Are these just old fashioned ideals of the past? When did we lower
