The first cell phone sold for $3, 995. It weighed 2 pounds and offered a whopping 1/2 hour off talk time before you had to recharge. In 1984 people were lining up in droves to buy this monstrosity. Well in technical terms this first cell phone has truly turned into something of monsterous proportions.
