 As I have been saying for years, where you lose weight or gain weight it all depends on the choices that you make. Eat more than usual and workout less and you'll gain weight. Workout more and eat less and you'll lose weight. Sounds simple doesn't it? Well it's really not that easy. Sure in terms of calories burned it is but many time it's hard to turn down that hot buttered popcorn at the movie theater or a slice or two or birthday cake. I mean who would think that I would need to walk almost half a day to burn up a few drinks on a Friday night.  We have all heard about weight trainers eating 10,000 + calories a day in order to build muscle and many have argued that it's the act of muscle building and having large muscles that burns all these calories. Now you have a good example of someone who doesn't have huge muscles but burns 12,000 or so calories a day because he burns it off during physical activity. The key to keeping weight off and losing weight has always been the same - it's not the amount of calories that you take in BUT the amount of calories that you will burn. As long as you burn more calories than you take in you'll lose the weight. Take in more calories than you burn and you gain weight. The diet itself in terms of calories is not as important than your activity level. So don't be so concerned which diet you go on or if you have cheated and had a cookie - just up your activity level to match the calories that you took in.  The Kettlenetics system is exercise system that I have also been doing for the last few weeks and can highly recommend it. As the article states, the exercises are very easy to learn, they don't feel like strength training exercises but more like stretching but it is a good workout, so do expect to have some muscle soreness for the first few workouts and to sweat - but the results are nice and they are quick.

 I thought that I knew which restaurant foods were the healthiest --boy I was wrong. For example: Eat this Ruby Tuesday’s 9 oz Sirloin with French Fries 615 calories 19 g fat Not That! Ruby Tuesday’s Bella Turkey Burger with Baked Potato 1524 calories 84 g fat I would have chosen the turkey burger and baked potato. This is really interesting stuff.

 The only way that I could see how it could help with weight loss, is if you drank skin milk and it filled you up a bit so that you didn't snack on junk food. However it makes more sense to add more fruit or veggies to your diet to help fill up since many people have digestive problems with dairy. For your calcium goals there are many alternatives to dairy.
