 I've been looking into some alternatives for the ceiling of the basement in our new retail space. Fabric seems like the best way to go, we won't loose height but it'll hide the unfinished paint job and soften the place up. These might be a nice choice, we could just stretch panels along the beams

 It's so cold and rainy, all I can think about is the delicious Mexican Hot Chocolate I got on the way home from the mountain yesterday. In my search for an easy recipe I came across this recipe for Mayan Hot Chocolate. I've gotta pass it along to by dad, might be just the thing for Cotton Tree Lodge to serve during the rainy season! In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add chile pepper to boiling water. Cook until liquid is reduced to 1 cup. Remove chile pepper; strain water and set aside. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cream or milk, vanilla bean and cinnamon stick until bubbles appear around the edge. Reduce heat to low; add chocolate and sugar or honey; whisk occasionally until chocolate is melted and sugar dissolves. Turn off heat; remove vanilla bean and cinnamon stick. Add chile-infused water, a little at a time, tasting to make sure the flavor isn't too strong. If chocolate is too thick, thin with a little more milk. Serve in small cups and offe
