About me
Former Marine, Small Business Owner, trying to make a positive impact on people with any of my walks in life. I haven't been around as long as some people, but I know people are more capable than what they might think, never give up on yourself. I have a big dog, which is my best friend. I like music, art, politics, humor, debate, I will discuss anything with anyone... .
One should never hold a Troop's Service against them, timing and what took place during that time isn't the troop's fault. We are held to a different kind of law and we are given orders, but some of us used our methods to improve on what is out there.

This book was written after my 1st combat tour :

There will be a more interesting book to follow....It gets better...

Contempt and Congress
mushmaster25
by mushmaster25  7-23-2007
Rather than run from this fight, supporters of the constitutional system ought to stand firm with the president. Presidents, Congresses, and the courts have long accepted a president's right to keep internal executive discussions confidential. Even when the Supreme Court ordered Richard Nixon to hand over the Watergate tapes, it recognized "the necessity for protection of the public interest in candid, objective, and even blunt or harsh opinions in Presidential decisionmaking." Without secrecy, the government can't function. No one thinks conversations between federal judges and their clerks, or members of Congress and their staff, ought to be aired publicly without good reason. The same goes for presidents -- even if their poll ratings are low.

Follow up on: Is a Bigger Army a Better Army? Recruiting Data
mushmaster25
by mushmaster25  7-10-2007
Just providing the actual recruiting information for the article clipped before (Is a Bigger Army a Better Army?) I have respect for all branches of the military. My advise to anyone thinking of joining. Become an Officer after serving 4 years enlisted, it will open your eyes. If you go to war, go with the Marines...in garrison... Air Force.. got to love room service

Is a Bigger Army a Better Army?
mushmaster25
by mushmaster25  7-10-2007
 1. Lowered standards never helped anyone, look at our political realm or how the system seems to favor the ones who use dishonest means. 2. I am terribly upset over the money and lives used, I've lost many good buddies out there. 3. I never really liked allot of things about "Corporate America" 4. When the army has made up stories like Jessica Lynch, who should stand before a military trial , or the like of Pat Tillman... i would be scared of joining to.. By the way, the Marines met their mark. Very few make it to carry the title Marine. Recruiting isn't the problem for us, its can you keep up with the training and not get washed out?

Tavis Smiley: Blacks too 'emotional' to obey rules
mushmaster25
by mushmaster25  6-30-2007    4
The black culture in America should be proud of their ancestry as any race should be and mostly is... I really wonder sometimes what their forefathers would would say or if they would be embarresed to know that their relatives are now labeled to emotional to follow rules and have to be given special all kinds of special treatment.

This man has claimed to be allot of things which he was not, some have conveniently forgotten about that. I think he might have some role identity issues. The current stage he is on with his movie, which in reality IS NOT original, people have been raising the warming issue for quite sometime. One can not rule out the other factor of the earth's cooling/warming phases... He has told the media since he lost the presidential race in 2000 to bush that he was not running again, and yet in every presidential election he has started making some oddball actions for someone who "is not running" . Hmmmm...

The CELTS by Enya
righthand
by righthand  6-28-2007    5
Antiquarian interest from the 17th century led to the term Celt being extended, and rising nationalism brought Celtic revivals from the 19th century in areas where the use of Celtic languages had continued. Today, "Celtic" is often used to describe the languages and respective cultures of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man and Brittany (see the Modern Celts article), but corresponds more accurately to the Celtic language family - of which six languages are spoken today (Manx and Cornish being recent revivals): Irish, Scottish Gaelic and Manx (Goidelic languages) and Welsh, Breton and Cornish (Brythonic languages). Only in the last two decades of the twentieth century did multidisciplinary studies come to bear upon the history of the Celts. Disciplines such as ancient history, palaeolinguistics, archaeology, history of art, anthropology, population genetics, history of religion, ethnology, mythology and folklore studies must all be taken into consideration and the

$19 Billion Spent on Iraqi Forces and NOT ready
mushmaster25
by mushmaster25  6-27-2007
$19 Billion dollars???? This is just stupid, get some people into the proper positions that will THINK about some of this before it gets out of hand. Meaning, 19 billion is a little to generous to force that don't show up for work, one never knows if they are working for the good guys or bad. Uniforms have been taken along with weapons and nothing is done to prevent this? Just because he is the president doesn't mean that he is above the law or his actions... If enough people start getting involved this nightmare can come to an end.
