i think it's a great way to
1. effectively organize Information without having to bookmark whole sites and messing with infos saved on your hd
2. let other people find interesting/funny/weird tiny tidbits of information
and you can access clipmarks from every computer in the world! you just need an internet connection.

and on top: it's a nice way of killing time when you're bored or waiting for something or whatever.
