I'm a disabled veteran (pre-Iraq and lucky for it) and a single mother. My ex and I are friends and I'm glad because it's the best way to share in my son's growth.
I come from a military family. I'm proud I served my country and would recommend it to others. I hate the war.
I'm a college educated professional with an open mind and a cautious heart.
I read voraciously (not just what others put in front of me). I'm a sci fi geek and a gen x'er and I <3 the 80's.
I'm used to doing for myself and work hard to support myself and my son.
I judge others by their actions. I support Obama, not because he's a democrat and not because he's "The One". It's all about the issues.

I love having this place to put all the cool things I find and I love being able to see what others have found.
