I'm an American Asian - i.e. a white person (wonderbread if you will) who continues to spend a lot of time in Asia and the sub-continent. I (quoting others) "eat to much rice" / "pray to the little fat man" / "suffer from Asian flush" / "wear towels on my head" / "drink obscene amounts of chai" / "am too tall" / "have no fear of death by curry" / AND MOST RECENTLY "look like an afghan"

If you didn't figure it out I love food - an enjoyment that far exceeds my basic biological functions.

I won't be pretentious I just read/see this stuff. Oh yeah and all the Human Rights related stuff - a lot of that is just to get info out on places I care about but that aren't well known. My hope is that some of these articles will spark thoughts from elsewhere. I'm always eager to hear new and different opinions.
