Jimminy Jilickers Radioactive Man, the vice president is selling nukes to Iran and the media doesn't want to talk about it! And that's just the second most significant news story swept under the rug this year according to this Kronkite-endorsed .org. I wonder, what is going on behind the scenes that we aren't privy to, and how does it affect my daily life/sense of reality? If the VP (by way of Halliburton) is in bed with Iran then its not a stretch to think that the media could be in bed with the government. Its almost impossible to know where the real lines are drawn anymore. Democrat/Republican. Democracy/Dictatorship. Capitalist/Fundamentalist. Journalist/Editorialist. Sinner/Saint Its all the same now, the lines are totally blurred. It could be conjectured that much of what we are sold, told, and taught is designed to keep us just "in the know" enough to do our jobs , buy things, and have babies that will grow up, do jobs, and buy things. POPSTraining for Democracy I like something like this. It is much more constructive than liberal yelling. If liberals wants to change the society, they have to spend their energy on educating people patiently, just like how churches preach.

No passenger cuold havew successfully placed a call for help by cell phone from these altitudes on 9/11 as reported.

POPSBush and Cheney Will Walk Away Smirking The most upsetting aspect of everything this administration does is that there is little to know doubt that they WILL get away with it in the end. Unless the congress is willing to actually force Bush, Cheney et al to face the consequences of their actions, nothing at all will happen. The dems have already announced, loud and clear, that impeachment is off the table. So, in that case, why all the hollering and shouting if we're just wasting our sweat and energy? Let's face it. The people have lost control of this government. Perhaps we should all just figure out a way to start this whole political process all over again.

POPSGeorge Bush Doesn't Know Why People Don't Like Him George Bush has been asking around the white house about why people seem to dislike America, or is it just him they dislike. My guess is that the world will once again warm up to America and appreciate us for the great country we are, once the Bush boy is gonzo. I just wish he were heading to the Hague where he could be tired, along with Cheney and Rumsfeld for war crimes.
