POPSHere you go -- eat once for the whole day http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/diet.fitness/10/15/big.breakfast.burrito.ap/index.html Full article And I think it sounds disgusting myself, not because of the fat content (though jesus h. christ that's a heart attack on a plate) but simply because of the mix of stuff in it ... I mean ewww.

POPSMother seeks to have womb of severely disabled daughter, 15, removed http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/10/08/hysterectomy/index.html For the full story. It seems to me that the mother is doing whatever she can to make sure her daughter's life will not be disrupted by a process that she is not likely to understand or even ever use. If the young lady is that severely disabled then she will most likely live at home and never get married or have children, so infringing on her right to reproduce is a moot point.

POPSAnd I have no clue how these kids got here either ... http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/O/ODD_DIGITAL_PORN_POLITICIAN?SITE=NYROR&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT For the full story ... and for the record, if anyone gave ME a flash drive as a gift the first thing I would do would be to check it for files and delete them.

POPSRyan Adams throws a tantrum I mean, seriously ... the article makes him sound like a two year old who missed his nap. Maybe the man needs to take a long and permanent vacation from live performances.

POPSHomeowner Finds $100K, Fights For Cash http://www.local6.com/news/14228121/detail.html For the full article. Poses a rather sticky question. Does the man that found the money have a right to it, or does the former owner of the house have legal claim?

POPSMan has license revoked 21 times http://rochesterdandc.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070922/NEWS01/709220346 Full article. Some reason, I don't think revoking this man's license is working.

POPSMan sues God, God responds http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/law/09/20/suing.god.ap/index.html For the full article. I can't help but chuckle at this guy's attempt to show what a sue happy society we live in and the fact that he got a response (no matter how divine or not in nature)

POPSRace Car Trivia I'm not a huge Nascar fan, but I found this tidbit interesting. The sport would be a lot more fun without the restricter plates.

POPSI'll block your ads if I want to http://news.zdnet.com/2100-9588_22-6207936.html?tag=nl.e550 For the full article (and comments). Sorry, but if I don't want to see popups, popunders, loud banners and other such internet clutter then I will damn well use a blocker. Thank you.

POPSExcessive gaming can be deadly How does someone spend 3 straight days at an internet cafe and get himself into a condition where he dies from it? Baffling. And yes, I'm a gamer, I've been known to have occasional weekend marathons, but even I get up eat, drink, stretch, nap ... The thought of spending three 24 hour periods glued to one place is scary. The thought of even 24 minutes is scary.

POPSStupidity reigns http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/health/healthmain.html?in_article_id=482143&in_page_id=1774 For the full article. I have to say this is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. I knit and I've never hurt myself or anyone else with my needles, yarn or anything else I use. I don't even know how they can justify such ... well.

POPSCommon sense in the office http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/career/?p=197&tag=nl.e550 For the complete article, with the writers' rather funny comments on each of the items in the list.

POPSWhat were they thinking? http://www.cnn.com/2007/LIVING/wayoflife/09/04/food.failures/index.html for the full article (Note - It's great for a chuckle to see what kind of strange things companies have come up with food wise)

POPSStealing your neighbor's WLAN bandwidth http://techrepublic.com.com/5208-6230-0.html?forumID=102&threadID=231779&tag=nl.e550 For the complete post, as it was a little over the 1000 character limit. I found it interesting, and the replies to the post are even more so interesting. Quite a debate going (gone) on about the subject.

POPSCoffee's good for you (this week) I couldn't help it. I drink coffee practically daily so to read something that says it might actually be good for me was a real kick. On the serious side though, if caffeine in any way really had an effect on Parkinson's disease I didn't notice it in my grandfather and he drank coffee at least 3 - 4 cups a day without fail.

POPSChina city debuts opulent public toilet Okay, just who the FUCK needs a public restroom with that many toilets? And what's up with the soothing music and TV watching? (further in the article) It's not supposed to be a living room, it's a public facility that you go into, use and then get the hell out.

POPSStupid Car Thief of the Week If you're going to steal something, make it something you actually know how to get away in. Better yet, go make your own money and buy your own stuff.
