This online comic creation tool can be used with a group to explore jobhunting scenarios. For example ask students to create comic strips to illustrate what to say and what not to say in a job interview. Users can share their strips with each other, and embed their finished creations into their own social web pages.

by larbs  7-13-2008
The principle social networks still don't provide accessibility to all users. The quarterly report by Ability Net is based on disabled users' experiences of the web. As the importance of social networking to career development and job hunting increases, it is vital that top service providers like facebook and myspace fully embrace the accessibility agenda.

This beta application is a great way to convert text to speech. Just upload a word doc or PDF, and the site converts it to an audio file with a choice of 15 natural sounding voices. You can download recordings, but not sell or distribute them. However you can embed your recordings onto a blog or website and share with your friends, contacts and readers.
