POPSWoman illegally downloads 24 songs, fined to tune of $1.9 million Once you download, you had better move them to another directory that can't be scanned. I figure, I owned almost every song I ever downloaded at one time. I bought them and subsequently, they were lost, became unplayable or stolen. If we could copy songs from albums to cassettes, borrow a friends album and copy it to tape.....I don't see any damn difference. I am just reacquiring my PAID for music. On the other hand, I don't want to see the artists lose money. One last thing, these artists aren't losing money from someone like me, who can't afford to buy any music.
