About me
I'm a husband, and a father.
I'm a soccer dad. I'm one of THOSE soccer dads.
I work in IT, therefore I'm a geek. But not that big of a geek, I prefer Windows.
I'm a former college athlete slowly realizing that those days are over.
I'm a father of a future college athlete, who reminds me that former athletes aren't that cool.
I'm a race fan. Any kind of racing; NASCAR, F1, Supercross, Tour de France, Track and Field, Go Karts, Hot Wheels. If it races, I'm a fan.
Why I use Clipmarks
I'm a Google Reader junkie. I go there first. There are times when I want to save something, but I don't like the way it has to be done in Reader. I thought Google Notebook would do the trick, but after giving Clipmarks a try, I decided to go with it.
I really like the post to a blog feature.

As long as those who are believers will acknowledge that their allegiance gives them no privilege, no direct line to the absolute truth, no advantage in moral insight

One does not have to be a fundamentalist to put a Jesus fish on one's car. Some of those who do so are certainly fundamentalists, but many more would better be described as moderate Christians. And yet, they share at least something with the fundamentalists - some degree of pride in their faith (i.e., their belief of something without evidence). It is not enough for these individuals to believe; they want others to know about it.
