POPSMarriage: "Healthy Conflict?" I'm not married yet & don't even have any prospects at the moment but I also feel it is wise to start training for marriage now before I even get close to it. Maybe I'll be able to avoid or at least be prepared for some of the problems that may & will arise should I ever be blessed with a husband.

POPSConservatives urge nationwide prayer on July 5 More from article: "'We know the problem lies in us and not in anyone else's issues or policies or persuasion,' he said. 'We are therefore bringing ourselves to God and asking for his mercy upon us.'" "But in an e-mailed message to supporters, Perkins said the focus of the day will be on 'praying that God would turn our hearts -- and the hearts of our political leaders -- toward him ... and restore respect for life, marriage, and faith in the halls of power.'" I totally agree with this article. The problems with the country started decades (almost a century now) ago when Christians started ignoring the moral decline of this nation & bending to the pressure of secularism.

POPS"Take Action: 'Hate-Crimes' Bill Headed for a Vote" "'The problem, which few want to acknowledge for fear of being labeled politically incorrect, or worse homophobic, is that in order to crack down on hateful behavior ... thoughts and expression must also be targeted — which runs diametrically counter to the First Amendment's protections for free speech and expression,' he wrote in a commentary today." "TAKE ACTION Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and reportedly said he is not hearing from family advocates on this issue. Please e-mail and/or call your U.S. representative and request a vote against the hate-crimes bill (H.R. 1913). You can find contact information through our Action Center."

POPS"Tatoos of the Cross" "While cross tattoos are no longer widespread among urban Copts, they remain popular among Egyptian Christian villagers as reminders of particular blessings and religious vows. To these Copts of both the past and present, cross tattoos have not been a sign of teenage rebellion or fashion forwardness. Instead, they have been enduring reminders of their Christian faith—showing the Copts' dedication to the One who bore the everlasting scars of mercy, grace, and truth."
