POPSObama's Harry and Louise And destructive of health reform too. This is one out of the Republican books. Make your weakness your strength. But in doing so you denigrate the best policy. Is this the politics of hope?

POPSWhy I might vote for Hillary This mailer from the Obama campaign really pissed me off. If there is one area where Obama is dead wrong it is in health care. And then he has the nerve to send out a negative ad like this? I am now firmly on the fence.

POPSObama: Iowa v. N.H. An interesting opening paragraph. But we just happen to vote for president "in the quiet, solitary space of the voting booth"

POPSGeorge the Unready The letter in the W/L column for George needs to be changed. The man is an un-recovered drunk. And he has his finger on the button.

POPSSenate Rejects Wiretapping Probe The fear in the abuse of power that can lead a shooting victim to apologize to his attacker is apparently equally useful against the U.S. Senate. Wimps.

POPSBolivia Cheers Its New President It is interesting to see what happens in a largely un-propagandized population. President Morales sounds like a decent and good person. I have no idea if their efforts will work or not, I guess they don't know either.

POPSActing at the behest of the Republican party The N.H. phone jamming case is an interesting case that is not getting a lot of headlines. What happened is on Election Day morning in 2002 the "get out the vote" phone lines at the Democratic Party HQ in NH were jammed. Turns out a company was deliberately jamming the phone lines. As it turns out as mentioned in the article, it was planned by the GOP. More background here http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/week_2003_02_09.php#000660
