Why I use Clipmarks
I Love the convenience of saving the "important" part of articles which I enjoy.
I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on eclectic topics which is available on clipmarks. Glad that I'm a clipper......I end up spending more time on this site every week. I am meeting some really nice people too. It is sad to see that the media cannot be trusted; the truth is out there -- but who's truth?

Indecency
kkcapricorn
by kkcapricorn  3-30-2008
As Chris Finan, ABFFE president, says "It is un-American to force booksellers to register with the government based on the kinds of books they carry," and it is yet another symptom of just how demented it is to mandate registering books, and not firearms. When was the last time we heard about a fatality that results from reading "Lady Chatterley's Lover?" Here we go again. Who will be this generation's Larry Flint? Who gets to decide what's decent?

Kudos to David Swanson for all the effort he invested in this 5 page article. If you are up for the read, it is well worth it. The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, except on corporations, those possessing over $10 million, and close acquaintances of the Unitary Executive

Now almost anything he deems can cause seizure of any or all property of that person accused, and in this case accusing is the same as finding guilt making bush the prosecuting attorney, the judge amd the executioner, he also gives the same right to the Secretary of the Treasury as he does with the Iraq EO. In addition to the punishment making one penniless with no savings, no car, no money and no belongings meaning you will be on the street, his EO bans anyone from giving you, or your family anything, even food or clothing or money--a death sentence, fitting for a sadist like bush

Internet censorship??
kkcapricorn

A powerful Senate committee wants government regulators to find cutting edge technologies that can censor audio and video that flows over the internet, through cable, or into an iPhone to help make sure the nation's small children never see a naked breast or hear Howard Stern without parental permission. The idea is to turbo charge the V-Chip, a government mandate that requires television makers to include a chip that parents can used to filter shows. Here we go........

I can't believe it. I'm not good at legal speak so I am not sure what to make of this. Go to the site and read the rest or just google the title of the article and find out more. If anyone has any idea if this in any way can be true, please say so. "(ii) to have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, logistical, or technical support for, or goods or services in support of, such an act or acts of violence or any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order
