POPSSequel to "Superman Returns" in works I'm kind of shocked. I didn't think this movie was that popular. I haven't heard anything good about it. Apparently, it was more of a hit with the general public than with geeks.

POPSNovelist gives away film rights to book -- sort of I like this idea. While movie rights are a huge portion of an author's income in the current environment, I think it may actually be in the interest of an obscure author to let people allude to and rip off their work in order to establish a reputation among the general population.

POPSHistorical Innacuracies in "300" The full article explains it much better; the 1,000-character limit was a pain in this case. I kind of wonder if the graphic novel has this many inaccuracies, and what the political agenda of the filmmakers, and possibly Frank Miller, is.

POPSHarrison Ford to play Indiana Jones again Maybe it's just me, but I'm reading between the lines when Lucas says this will be a "character piece." It sounds to me like this means they're going to cut down on the action because of Harrison Ford's age.

POPSRobert Jordan's illness Fans of the Wheel of Time series have known about this for a while, but this is the first mention I've seen in the major media. Most of me feels a great deal of sympathy for someone stricken by such a horrible disease, but part of me also wants to say, "Don't you wish you hadn't dragged this series out now, Bob?"
