POPSWill You LOOK at those Dots??? he Quilting Stash podcast host, Annie Smith, interviewed Mary Lou Weideman in April. The show is really great, interesting as well as entertaining. I just listened to it this week and finally went to look at Mary Lou's quilts. I have one one of her books, but the photos of these quilts are so cheerful. I think she is one of my new heroes!. Will you look at all of the dots she uses? I was interested to hear, in the interview, that MLW creates her borders first. Look carefully at the witch quilt's border. It amazes me that she can make the border first when it is so intricate. Definitely a technique I want to try.

POPSLibrarians in the Movies for NLW I have been thinking about marking a shelf on Goodreads for books with librarians in them, but haven't gotten around to it. As National Library Week debuts this month, Entertainment Weekly has come out with a great photo gallery of scenes in libraries from the movies. Ghostbusters and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade are included.

POPSVisual Bibliography Jane Sassaman sent out a newsletter today, which is why I am over looking at her site. I came across her Visual Bibliography and think this is a great idea. Pam RuBert wrote about a new book she is using for inspiration and now JS has posted about it, too. Hhhmmm...a trend? Time will tell. What do you read/look at for inspiration?

POPSBack to Visual Journalling PamDora jolted me out of my visual journaling non-progress with her recent post and pointer to a book. I checked out my local library to see if they had it and, sadly, they don't. I'll have to see what my other options are for getting it without buying it and actually having to store it. Good idea, though. Perhaps PamDora will loan it! ;-)

POPSBeyond Hogwarts It is great to know that there is more out there and the characters aren't finished yet. I do wish to know what happened to Hermione's parents, though.
