POPSPopgadget Celebrates Women in Tech Women want more than baby monitors and cellulite zappers. How about a lime green cell phone I can dial with one hand while keeping the kids in line at the school carnival? Welcome to my world.

POPSDots in Bird Form I need more dots like a need a hole in the head, but the web is a great thing, because I can admire them without buying! Deirdre sent me this picture. I can't see the dots very well, but I like the relationship of birds and sticks to the background.

POPSElectric Quilt Freebies If you haven't gotten on the Electric Quilt bandwagon, I suggest that it is time. Aside from the software being really useful with tools for making templates, creating rotary cutting directions, working out visual problems, there is a vast block library and GREAT customer service. They also have a lot of freebies and downloads on their website. One of my faves is their fabric library downloads. Each month they put up another group of fabrics for download. These virtual fabrics add to your collection of fabrics in the program and keep you in the latest virtual fabrics for your project. You can use these files in any of your EQ6 (and some EQ5) projects.Check it out.

POPSThe Artistry of Food Kuidaore has taken baking to new heights. The artistry of these cakes and cupcakes is amazing. Other posts in the blog show Christmas themed cookies and cupcakes. They look like they cannot possibly be real.

POPSQuilt Exhibit at the Renwick It pays to read blogs, so you can tell people to go and see this exhibit. It is about QUILTS! It is at a real MUSEUM! They have a companion BOOK! Sadly (I guess it is my day for sadness), I won't be heading out that way until the summer. Do give me a review and let me know if you liked it. Perhaps I will put the book on my Christmas list. Hhhmm.

POPSFridgeWatcher.com This is one of the things that struck me as funny this Thanksgiving (in the US) holiday season. Looking into other people's refrigerators! Very funny. It makes me wonder what it says about us. My fridge, at the moment, is stuffed to the absolute gills with Thanksgiving preparations.
