POPSIdeas for Clipmarks? I think it's been a while since anyone has done it, so let me see if I can start something up. Others can follow. I would like to see on Clipmarks.... A list of 'Most active Clippers' A list of Clippers with most followers Simple interface with less drop down lists A list of Clippers currently browsing Clipmarks Ways to further decrease time it takes to clip, i.e, reduce clicks anywhere possible. More RSS integration, i.e., see if Clipmarks can auto-clip latest interesting news/feeds. More later.

POPSBlogger: No good online discussion without moderation Something to consider when we talk about civility and free speech on Clipmarks. I suspect Teresa is right when she says you need moderators for good online discussion. One other thing from her moderating guidelines : There’s no more useless advice than to tell people to just ignore such things. We can’t. We automatically read what falls under our eyes.

POPSClipmarks: custom sorting on the fritz? I have set my "custom" tab to sort by "new clips" and "latest comments" but I am finding more and more that using the custom sort is missing either recent clips or clips with recent comments, at least if they occurred before loading up Clipmarks. For example, Godfrey Daniel has just left two comments (the 20th and 21st) on Kore7's "Christian Gay Sex Scandal" clip, but the clip cannot be found if I go to the custom view (even though I specified "latest comments". Another example: some of my recent private clips do not appear when I am looking at "My Page" when I sort by custom. It looks like that "Custom" works only for organizing whatever happens AFTER Clipmarks is loaded up. It seems to be slightly off for the 100 most recent "past" clips if that makes any sense. Just FYI. Keep up the great work Eric G., Eric W., Adam, and Derek.

POPSClipmarks Rollcall After skwirl and mousie have argued that we need a Roll Call. I thought I'd make one. But given I'm too lazy, I've left it upon the community to build one. Every REAL Clipper POP this so that we know you exist (Yes Mr. Daniel you must POP this too). So POP away.

POPSMy thoughts on how Clipmarks relates to "news" sites... I have received a number of messages recently about clipmarks becoming a "news" site. I've heard some good and bad potential implications of this. I have posted my thoughts on the matter on our blog and wanted to share them with you all here. Would love to hear your thoughts.

POPSWHY THE HELL.... ...isn't Climarks supporting the Tabbing function of Firefox ??? It's the most useful invention in browsers since the Mosaic back button in 1994, and I can't use it in my favorite forum!! So sad.

POPSEvernote I've been using Evernote for close to a year I think. If you want a kind of desktop local version of Clipmarks, this is it. Very slick and easy ot use and organize. Firefox extension available. It just works and works well.
