Process Theology, very difficult but worth trying
jimbo1000
by jimbo1000  7-21-2008    1
I think process theology will in the future be accepted as a new paradigm. But it will take time for the new ideas to gain acceptance. Whitehead's position as a brilliant mathematician adds credence for me. Echoes of Leibniz

20mph the default speed in towns?
jimbo1000
by jimbo1000  6-30-2008
This will come and the sooner the better. Norwich wanted to introduce a townwide limit of 20 and the engineers said it would cost £10M to install! This is a total nonsense. With 20 the default speed there would be need for the few 30mph signs only

If we are not to be determinists then there has to be a mechanism that allows the 'billiard ball' scenario to be over-ridden. Top-down causation might be that mechanism.
