POPSBubba The Baby All those years the public believed the Media and it's protection of Bill Clinton. The man apparently had charisma but no core strength. His persona was *created. I never would have voted for Hillary but she is a cut above her husband and even Obama. Hint, hint....how a person is portrayed by the Media & that person's handlers may not be who that person really is....beware of *created* candidates who conform outwardly but are vile and petty on the inside.

POPSCocky Ignorance An attempt to appear relevant, authoritative, confrontational toward soon-to-be subordinates. Political hay over a serious issue.

POPSReminder: Bush Won in Florida Recounts..... I do not plan to watch this HBO movie. It's typical re-writing of history by the liberal media and the conspiracy Dems who can't handle the truth. I was here. The media called Florida before the Panhandle even had a chance to vote! It was a huge farce and an attempt to steal the election by Mr. Gore...not the other way around. No one is going to change anyone's mind. I know that. But I appreciate the reminder of the final fact...however disenfranchised someone might have felt.

POPSAs family movies draw crowds, film makers see gold in G and PG ratings I'm not sure I agree with the first sentence but I'm glad to hear this if it's true. I also believe that the bar between PG and PG-13 has been lowered. AND I wish there were more movies being made that were *just* good! I'm so sick of the fraternity/sorority, sex/sicko, slice and dice, juvenile stuff I saw at my local video store last night.

POPSEven Harvard Finds The Media Biased Not news to most of us, but it's interesting that another source (like Harvard!) thought it was an important issue to analyze. The sheeple are fed whatever the particular media outlet wants to propagate. Thank you Fox News.

POPSSanchez: Media's Reporting of Iraq War Endangered Soldiers' Lives Whoa! I hadn't heard this part of his conversation. I wonder why? And concerning this assessment....I could not agree more. Perhaps if the media hadn't been so aggressively portraying the situation in Iraq so inaccurately, the 'nightmare' would not have been such as he considered it.

POPSIt's crucial to reveal the truth even at this late stage I remember this. It was heartbreaking to watch and heartbreaking to see how the incident was being used to fan the flames of violence. But since then, we have seen many such situations being manipulated for propaganda purposes whose main purpose is to continue the hate. Even then, there were doubts that the footage was accurate. But how many people really *care* if it was or not.

POPSMedia Mythbusters A new blog site with emphasis on *news* stories that have, with time, been clarified and de-mythed.

POPSDemocrats Skipping Military Briefings.... Sadly, there is a war going on in Washington. If the Democrats had been as determined to defeat the terrorists/insurgents in Iraq as they have the President's policies...perhaps our troops would be home already.

POPSBill Roggio Blogs From Iraq I came across this from the Hugh Hewitt site. I want to read what Roggio is actually seeing and hearing as opposed to the filtered media.
