POPSTime to walk away from Israeli-Palestinian conflict? FTA: "We should stop feeling as though we have to apologize for our friendship with Israel, or pretend that the Palestinians and their Arab neighbors didn’t create their own misery through a series of wars against Israel which they lost. Let the Palestinians and the Israelis tend to their own interests, and we should tend to our own as well. When the Palestinians figure out that we are not interested in beating our heads against the wall by dealing with terrorists uninterested in actual negotiations, then perhaps they’ll produce effective leadership with more interest in coexistence rather than annihilation." I think I agree.

POPSUS scientist charged with spying "....this complaint is serious and should serve as a warning to anyone who would consider compromising our nation's secrets for profit," Does this include political "profit" and therefore those in Washington?

POPSElBaradei says nuclear Israel #1 threat to Mideast report AT LAST...the Director General has unmasked himself. It's not about Iran...it's about Israel!!! I can imagine the "talks" he & Iran's mega-leader will have. "condemned Iran's alleged deception"?? It's been known for years. My jaw drops at the attempts these people go to to dupe and mislead people.

POPSWorst foreign policy ever. FTA: "Wary of Iran, other Middle Eastern states are gearing up for nuclear programs, unconvinced by U.S. promises of extending a defensive umbrella." "Russia continues militarily to occupy a significant part of Georgia, an American ally, and conducts business as usual with Iran and other troublemaking states. " Worst domestic policy too. Look what he's done in just 8 months and what he plans to do. HELP!

POPSThe Emerging Axis of Iran & Venezuela The US media has been too quiet about what is happening just South of us. Israel isn't the only country that has good reasons for it's concern about the pervasive weapons movements of Iran.
7
POPSFatah: We'll sacrifice victims until Jerusalem is ours OK...someone please tell me how Israel is suppose to have a *peace plan* with these people...whether Fatah or Hamas. They can't!!! Why won't those who make-believe that there can be peace among those people in that little section of land take the Arabs at their word?! And as soon as Iran gets their nukes going, where do you think will be the first place they'll be sent? Oh, and isn't "sacrifice" and "victims" and oxymoron?
6
POPSKatz: Fatah 'plan' is declaration of war "...if peace talks fail"? They always fail because Fatah has not honored one portion of any so-called peace plan of the past. They want the Jews *gone*! And they (along with Hamas and their allies) are nibbling bit by bit. Almost a billion dollars of our tax money is heading to the PA. Whose hands do you believe that money will fall into? Bibi needs to tell Fatah, Hamas, this current Administration and the State Dept that there will be no more talks, phone calls, emails..... There have been no serious efforts on the Arabs part to live in harmony with the Israelis in the region. Major portions of the world have chosen sides; even the US is divided over whose cause is the the most just. The day of reckoning is fast approaching.

POPSAnguish Across the Globe as Obama Rolls Back Am. Influence FTA: "President Obama's administration has tacitly energized radically anti-American and tyrannical regimes to do their worst. We are watching the rollback of thirty years of American influence across the world -- and millions around the world are worse off for it." Add to this the current climate against the missile defense system in Eastern Europe to placate Russia and the undermining of our traditional support of Israel.

POPS"Obama "Very Concerned" At Ayatollah's Comments He's concerned about "some of the tenor" and "tone"...I guess he hasn't been watching the *action* going on there. Hasn't he been aware that the Ayatollah's influence has been a "concern" of some in America and most in Israel for quite some time? Isn't he just the King of diplomatic speak? Reminds me of the rhetoric we hear out of the UN...resulting in nothing but more abuse and oppression of people. The election was a farce; everyone knows it...even Obama. He belongs to that other half of America.

POPSIsrael & Egypt Lose Faith in Obama Obama is just making the certainty happen more quickly. He is dissing our traditional allies and cozying up with the Islamic nations believing that talks & appeasement will protect us. Has he read Islamic history at all?
7
POPSNetanyahu stands firm against demands from Obama It may be in the best interests of Obama & the international community, but NOT in the best of the Israelis. Israel is surrounded by a "terror base". Giving Hamas a state, complete with all that would entail, is insanity. Saying things differently or using diplomatic-speak doesn't change that. Hamas is exactly like the Taliban and Somalia war lords.

POPSGingrich tells 'Post': Obama is endangering Israel I didn't always agree with him but I miss this man. I always knew what he believed because he was blunt & to the point. Obama is indeed endangering Israel and by doing so, the entire region. He's even more of a novice than Carter and much more manipulated and gullible.

POPS'Iranian arms ship destroyed near Sudan No other source for this yet but I'd put my money on Israel. And good; a few less weapons in the area. Interesting that it's through Sudan. I think I read where Egypt was trying to stem the flow also.
1
POPSIsrael Puts Iran Issue Ahead of Palestinians Or....take care of Iran and then we'll talk. Good job, Bibi. However, Obama will not do squat about Iran and it's arming, financing of Hezbollah & Hamas or it's nuclear program. So, stalemate continues.
3
POPSReport: Hamas Killed, Maimed Dozens of Opponents No surprise here other than that it's being reported. It's not only Israelis that Hamas seeks to kill; it's anyone who doesn't agree with them. As long as Hamas controls Gaza and has such a huge foothold in the area...there will be no peace. I wouldn't hold my breath with Fatah either.
2
POPSHamas threw 'medicine grenades' at IDF No surprise. When the UN launches attacks, how bad must it be?!! In modern history I have seen nothing that rivals this group or it's efforts. Will the rest of the world continue to stand by and fail to condemn them just for the sake of NOT appearing to be supportive of Israel's policies??

POPS'Hamas torturing Fatah members in Gaza' Why did Israel do a 'cease-fire'? Something isn't right that it just happen to coincide with Obama's inauguration. Hamas will regroup, continue it's movement against Fatah and Israel both...with the help of Syria and Iran. I think Israel was blackmailed by the in-coming administration but given free reign by the Bush administration in it's last days....giving them time to do all the damage to Hamas that was militarily possible during that time. Now the restraints are back on.
2
POPSIsrael claims Hamas fired from school.... Hamas KNOWS what it is doing. It's back is against the wall; what better tactic or what options are left for them? They are getting no support from their Arab neighbors; they are terrorists and kill their fellow Muslims. Only small groups of rent-a-riots pop up around the world designed to convince the world that their cause is just. It is not. There could have been peace with Israel years ago and none of these innocent people...both Palestinian and Israeli would have died.

POPSHaniyeh: If IDF stops agression, we'll tlak about all issues. Oh Please!!! Has Israel NOT been down this path before?? When Hamas or Fatah are on the defensive they cry "Talks!" and then blame Israel for resisting?? Has Israel not learned anything from the last 10 yrs?? GO!!! It's your last chance for a respectable/believable resistance against attacks to your own sovereign Nation.

POPSNext EU president supports Israeli op And those 350 deceased Palestinians were who??? Thankfully it was noted (again!) that Hamas locates it's security and explosive facilities around and within hospital, schools, and civilian populations. Killing Palestinians is good for PR. Watch some videos of the Israeli bombings of the tunnels. There is secondary explosions....meaning that they are full of munitions which most everyone knew about already.

POPSEgypt refuses full opening of Rafah Destroy Hamas and the region will move towards the "two-state solution"...which will ultimately be detrimental to Israel also. But it would provide a foundation to begin working for a more peaceful region even though it would be another temporary *fix*.
