POPSSenate Rejects Obama's Labor Board Nominee Well, doo-daa. So Lincoln and Nelson joined in. Are these fair-weather politicians or are they really nervous as the worm is turning? I'm all for unions who want to support their members in the political system. I'm not for forcing or manipulating their members into the necessity of joining unions. Here I'm pro-choice. I wonder if there are more rejections coming.

POPSLiberal Conceit FTA: " If liberals are so devoted to "evidence and logic," then how come Social Security and Medicare sport unfunded liabilities two or three times the GDP? If liberals are so shocked by racism, how come they condone the antics of the Justice Brothers and Reverends Jackson and Sharpton? If liberals are so appalled by sinister campaign tactics, then how come they spent 2009, the year the locusts ate, writing 2,000-page bills in secret after concluding corrupt bargains with special interest lobbies?". AMEN to that!

POPS75% Are Angry @ Government's Current Policies That's a lot of unhappy people. While you can't please everyone and I'm sure there are some on the Left who are angry that their agenda is becoming stagnant, I believe that there is very little to *like* that's coming from Washington.

POPSObama's Hand Apparently Sarah isn't the only one who writes on their hands. (husband does too)

POPSMichael Vick Presents New, God-First Image While I find what Vick was involved in disgusting, I think he got a very harsh penalty and mostly because of who he was. However, there's nothing quite like rock-bottom to cause you to look up. And thanks to men like Coach Dungy for being a good mentor, witness, and friend.

POPSGeithner pushes for deficit commission Oh GAG! Just what we need; another 'commission' to milk tax dollars and tell us what we already know. The "soaring budget deficit" is a result of *your* Administration and Congress' policies. The people are not buying anymore of this "bring the people together" stuff. *You* fix it! *You* made a relatively small & manageable mess into a national disaster.

POPSBrown hits back @ Kennedy for 'joke' candidacy dig FTA: "A WPRI-12 poll shows Kennedy with a 56 percent unfavorability rating in his district. Republican challenger John J. Loughlin II, a veteran state lawmaker, entered the race yesterday." Maybe Rep. Kennedy won't be laughing too much longer.

POPSRubio on the Census, immigration, & the Super Bowl - video Kind of a disjointed interview but Rubio's my guy. 12 points ahead of Crist in such a short time. The grassroots of Florida have put this man in the lead. As with Scott Brown, I'm hoping that he will be able to buck the Washington culture and turn this Obama mess around.

POPSObama Mispronounces "Corpsman" At Prayer Breakfast The video would not clip but he sounded weird. Maybe he needed some medicinal help to get through the Prayer Breakfast. Pres. Bush got a whole lot of ridicule for mangling words but I don't think this is one he would have had a problem with. Go Tebow. You, at the Prayer Breakfast, were an encouragement and belonged there.

POPSTerror attack on US 'certain,' Senate told I saw this assessment this morning and it was very sobering. So, now the Senate has been 'told', I hope the same message of potential attacks, over-all danger, and the absolute necessity of each of us being on the alert is also being broadcast. I bet the security at the Super Bowl will be high. But who can protect against an underwear bomber or a woman with an explosive device stuck up her behind?

POPSSexual predator arrested after 13-yr-old neighbor reports abuse Protect your children. This occurred right here in my town. We've had several incidents of men at local schools trying to incise young boys into their cars. Fortunately in 2 reported cases the boys ran away and in 1 case the person was approached by a coach who then fled in his vehicle. We never suspect them. They always look so *normal*.

POPSAbstinence-only programs might work, study says Just how long does it take common sense to gain a hearing. I'm grateful for the study and heartened by it's findings; but really, to think that this was even necessary! Of course there will be naysayers who will insist that it's a fruitless endeavor. In my opinion, if you add to these programs a non-glorification of sex apart from marriage and family security, the kids might receive a powerful lesson. Especially since so many live in homes with no father, single-mother, no security, discipline or role-modeled love.

POPSTebow ad exposes the intolerance of the “tolerant” Left A very good article from a pro-abortion proponent over the ridiculous hot air blasting the airwaves from NOW. FTA: "Abortion doesn’t just involve serious issues of life, but of potential lives, Heisman trophy winners, scientists, doctors, artists, inventors, Little Leaguers " who would never come to be if their birth mothers had not wrestled with the stakes and chosen to carry those lives to term. And their stories are every bit as real and valid as the stories preferred by NOW." I commend her fairness and common sense.

POPSHamilton and Kean reprimand Pres. Obama on terrorism FTA: " despite the Obama administration's attempt to -- what else? -- blame Bush for the intelligence failings, the commission chairmen testified that 80% of their panel's recommendations have been implemented since they made them. Almost all of those changes happened during the Bush administration.

POPSDemocrats cry injustice OK. So it was a 5-4 decision. So who were the other 3 justices? Just these 2 are singled out because......? I bet the answer is a word that begins with B and ends with an H.
5
POPSObama Owes the High Court an Apology I guess this is where he gets his "audacity"? He can say whatever....and so his claims remain unchecked by the vast majority of his national audience. The attack was beyond rudeness in a SOTU message and arguable in it's content.
5
POPSJustice Alito mouths 'not true' I did not watch the speech. From what I've read already confirms to me that that was a good choice; especially considering that this President dares to voice *concern* over "...I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities." Does he think that we do not KNOW that they already are??!!!!

POPSPelosi bucks Obama's spending freeze So those who pledged to support the Constitution; ie..."provide for the common defense..." are now using threats to our defense system and military personnel for personal/political bargaining. I dislike this person intensely.

POPSClinton signals not a 2-term Sec. of State I believe she won't return or run for the Presidency. The problems are astronomical in both arenas and neither Obama or Ms. Clinton are up to the task. I think she is ready to join Bill as a *voice* on the circuit, be a fund raiser and back away from the spotlight. I know many think that's impossible for the person we know as Hillary; but she's probably done. She may even resign after the 2010 mid-terms.
