Hundreds of scientists reject global warming
jasontromm

Anybody who believes man can destroy what God has made is a fool. God created a system that can maintain balance on its own. The earth goes through natural cycles and there's little man can do but adapt.

There are a lot of good candidates this year. The front-runner right now is the professor who threw himself in front of a killer's bullets at VT last spring. A U.S. Soldier and Tony Dungy also caught my eye when I read over the list.

Thompson Proposes Tax Choice

I knew there was a reason I liked Fred. I've always said the government should be able to function on a 10% tax. If God can run his Kingdom on a 10% tithe, then the government should be able to get along with less. Government is not god.

Christians interrupt Hindu prayer in Senate
jasontromm
by jasontromm  7-13-2007    1
Seems to me like the protesters picked the wrong form of protest. They should have turned their backs on the Hindu saying the prayer. Before they left the Senate chamber they should have symbolically removed their shoes and shook the dust off them. Just as the disciples did when they left a town that rejected Christ.

Ethanol isn't such a green fuel after all
jasontromm
by jasontromm  5-23-2007    6
At least not the way we make it here in the U.S., from corn. I know some countries in South America make it from sugar cane and that may be more efficient, but making it from corn isn't green.

Bush spokesman defends 'W' after 'worst in history' claim

I wish W. had the balls to fire back at his political enemies more often. Carter is not only irrelevant, he is the worst President of the 20th century. Remember sitting in gas lines and only being able to buy gas on even or odd days? You think the price of gas is high now, adjust the price of gas during the Carter administration for inflation and you'll see it was higher then.
