 The courts ruled against the student, because his actions "materially and substantially disrupt the work and discipline of the school." Children need to be taught the implications of their actions have consequences. Cyberbullying, even against a teacher is not a joke and is not protected under free speech. Especially when the school administration is bound to find out about it from the other students.
