     ResponseTek's Director of Marketing, Colin Stein, points out how the shifting market and evolving customer feedback loops are challenging traditional market research practices and perceptions. However, he seems to pit non-social methods against "market research 2.0" rather unnecessarily. Certain tasks, for instance locating, collecting, and formatting repetitive data that is not needed immediately would likely be encumbered by user generated annotation: insisting on highly social media behaviors and eschewing batch-processing on a matter of principle demonstrates the dangers of applying technologies for their own sake, instead of for their users.
