POPSUS House: UN report on Gaza 'war crimes' is biased The Goldstone report lambasted both sides in the war, which killed up to 1,387 Palestinians and 13 Israelis, but was harsher toward Israel. It gave Israel and Palestinian Hamas militants six months to mount credible investigations or face possible prosecution in the Hague. Both Israel and Hamas have denied committing any war crimes. Israel has criticized the report as unbalanced and says the 47-nation Geneva-based U.N. Human Rights Council, which commissioned the report, is biased against the Jewish state. POPSA bulldozer in Jerusalem At just over 8300 square miles, Israel comprises less than one half of one percent of the Middle Eastern territory. Israel is in fact smaller than the state of New Jersey. Amazingly, one can drive across the country near its widest extent – from the shore of the Dead Sea to the Mediterranean on the other side – in just over 90 minutes. Being only 290 miles long, a modern fighter jet can cover the space between Israel’s two most distant points in less than 10 minutes. Israel’s population of 7.3 million is smaller than that of Virginia. More than twenty percent – nearly 1.5 million – are Arabs while five percent is composed of other ethnic minorities. That means that there are 5.5 million Jews in Israel. That figure represents a miniscule portion of the overall population of the Middle East, which stands at some 230 million. In light of this, it is hard to believe that the tiny Jewish remnant is somehow responsible for all of the region’s problems.

POPS Terror For Tots Cartoons In Gaza Hey, do you think it's possible that Hamas TV "promotes a culture of death for Palestinian children?" On the plus side, the kind of pathological lunatics who produce these videos can be easily mollified with a few kilometers of land.

POPSItalian Parliament in Rome: Italy stands with Israel against Hamas
"The change of attitude is great: the terrorist and religious nature of Hamas and the democratic, civilized nature of Israel are seen face to face for what they really are at least by the European elite at large, dead and wounded notwithstanding, and there rises an identification with Israel against a regime that uses human shields and promises slaughter of Jews in its charter. What happens today, at least in Italy, is the defeat and fall of the leftist ideologies: ideology that has allowed justification of all the most violent crimes and most disgusting verbal attacks. If Arafat launched the terrorist Intifada, if he promoted the martyrdom of children in public speeches, the ideologists were ready to justify him with the issues of occupation, the Palestinian misery and loss of any hope. Not so with Hamas. History, in Italy, has brought to a profound crisis the ideology of revolution and the justification of any cruel attack against a so-called unjust imperialist order."
