POPSRight Wing Americans are Getting What They Deserve Here's the last bit :) All I can say is that this is what you get for believing even for a moment what the US corporate media wants you to believe. The rest of us Bush haters are Bush haters for one reason and one reason only; we pay attention! So to my new former Bush supporting friends who seem to be suddenly surrounding me and telling me that I have been right all along: you can tell me I was right but after that shut the hell up because it is too late for forgiveness. From now on, just shut up and listen. Think about it! Yeah!! I just had to clip this. I just had to! .:D I'm just gonna have to take the s*** and excuses and apologetics the Bush supporters and neo-con clippers are gonna try to give me on this, but I don't care. It's most definitely worth it. This clip is for all my fellow "Bush-haters" Enjoy! I did!

POPSThe Uninsured are Dying Who says it isn't hurting anyone to be without health insurance....not I...it makes sense to put off check ups when you don't have the money to pay or to wait as long as you can hoping you feel better when you get sick...They know it is hurting us, They did a Study on on it. So how can we ignore the truth?

POPSWe Have Seen the Enemy - And Surrendered Here's a plan: First, locate the major companies. No major intelligence effort will be required, since Google should suffice. Second, estimate their armed strength. No doubt there are legions of security guards involved in protecting the company headquarters from irate consumers, but these should be manageable with a few brigades. Next, consider an air strike, followed by an infantry assault. And what about the two to three million insurance industry employees whose sole job it is to turn down claims? Well, I have a plan for them: It's called unemployment. What country in its right mind would pay millions of people to deny other people health care? The problem is the same as it always is. This makes too much sense, and too many greedly, little GOP Scrooges like to stuff their pockets full of wads of cash even if it means their countrymen suffer and needlessly die.

POPSU.S. Iraq Vet Speaks Against Iraq Occupation "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." So, I'm asking... What can we do to end the wars? It's not just Iraq and Afghanistan who are paying the price for the arrogance of an Empire. We also, are the ones who pay, the ones who die, the ones who suffer. We are the ones losing liberty and money. Our children grow poorer, while the Halliburtons of the world, grow richer and fatter. Is this your idea of freedom? Of security? Of justice and honour and liberty? I know for sure, it's not mine. They can't wage their wars without us. A trickle can become a river. A few lone voices can become a roar. If the whole world stands together, we CAN end these senseless wars. Yes, we can. Dissent, desert, protest, sanction, refuse, resist, rebel, object, rally, petition, boycott, impeach.

POPSWill We Soon Be Extinct? The total for services provided to humanity by Mother Nature came to $2.9 trillion per year (another study concluded the total was $33 trillion) We are hopelessly indebted to and dependent on Mother Nature. Nothing in this world is free. The day will come, when we must pay the piper. Let's start reducing our "debt" now, before it's too late.

POPSGreek parrot in parking fine row Patras's Deputy Mayor Spiros Demartinos is embarrassed that Coco's plight is attracting international attention. He would prefer to talk about the city's ambitious plans to use parking revenue for funding bicycle lanes and pedestrian zones. "Is it bureaucratic to be concerned about the parrot's safety?" he asks. "The parrot's security is of paramount concern to the council." Both sides are refusing to back down and so the dispute is heading to the palace of justice. Coco's owner is hoping that the case will be laughed out of court.

POPSIf We Really supported the Troops...
Go to http://anysoldier.com/WhereToSend/ and then click on a soldier-contact's name, read the blurb he or she has posted about what his or her unit wants, and then click again to request a form (asking for your own addy and name) to get the appropriate address for that unit. You must not send porn, and you must not send packages that contain both food and soap/sunscreen/etc in the same box. No pork products. No anti-islamic tracts in bulk. No political content. No flea collars. No depictions of naked or partly naked people. No explosives, firearms, other shit that is illegal to mail anyway. Don't send chocolate, it melts. You must request the address to send your package to on the same day you mail it, so it's hard to really meet the requests. I am thinking of assembling a bunch of common cheap items, and boxing them up at the last minute. even someone as poor as me can spring for toothbrushes and lip balm, for crying out loud. Things particularly in need: * Personal letters from

POPS Freemasons::How And When Did They Begin? Given the clandestine nature of the Freemasons, it's not surprising that they give careful consideration before admitting new members. To join, a man must fill out a petition and obtain two sponsors within the Lodge. He will then be voted in by secret ballot. Potential new members are asked whether they believe in God, and they must answer "yes" to be admitted. Although they don't have to be wealthy, members must have enough money to pay membership fees and to make the regular charitable donations that are expected of all Freemasons. New Freemasons start out as Entered Apprentices. During the initiation ceremony, the Freemasons recount the building of King Solomon's Temple and the murder of Hiram Abiff. The new member is blindfolded and confronted by three men, who order him to reveal the Freemasons' secrets. He swears he will not tell, and then pretends to die and be resurrected into Masonry.

POPS$700 billion defense policy bill passes Passed yesterday. Almost no mention of it. All efforts to halt or limit the war deleted. News report confusing. The leaders of the Democratic Party appear to believe, as others have suggested, that there best way to win the most in the 2008 elections is to NOT do anything to oppose the war -- because that might backfire against them. Yet, take advantage of the fact there IS strong anti-war feelings that will hurt the Republican Party. (With an assumption that the anti-war "lefties & liberals," have no choice but to vote for them anyhow; since there is no way the "lefties & liberals" would vote Republican. This COULD BE very astute, and the way candidate/Senator Hillary Clinton would like the most, she being a "centralist," and not wanting to be labeled "lefty or liberal." Those who die between now and then are dying for politics 2008. Also in today's news: Obama was a drug dealer.

POPSWhy WSJ.com Won't Go Free Blodget makes a good argument for Murdoch keeping the WSJ in a subscriber model...a pretty bold prediction, given the rest of the industry's assurances that the wall is about to come down.

POPSAbid Mustafa: "The West to the World: Accept Our Values or Die"
The West armed with its secular doctrine and materialistic world-view proceeded to exploit, plunder and colonize vast populations in order to control resources and maximize wealth. In pursuit of these newfound riches the West succeeded in destroying civilizations such as the Incas, American Indians, Aztecs, and Aborigines. Those who survived colonization were forcibly converted to Christianity, stripped of their heritage and sold into bondage to western companies. For the indigenous people of Africa, India, Asia, the Middle East and others, the promises of freedom quickly evaporated and were replaced by colonial rule. Resistance offered by the natives towards their colonial masters was met by brute force . When the West was not destroying the natives they were too busy annihilating each other in a desperate bid to cling on to their precious colonies. World Wars I and II are prime examples of the destructive nature of western values.

POPSHeart Attack Prevention Tips for Women February is American Heart Month, so let's talk about preventing heart disease in women. But pay attention even if you are a man because most of these recommendations apply to everyone. women are more likely to die after a heart attack than men. One reason for this higher death rate is that women tend to be older than men when they have their first heart attack. # Increase omega-3 fatty acids. You can get these healthy fats by eating oily fish such as salmon, albacore tuna, mackerel, sardines, herring, and lake trout. Women with known heart disease may also wish to take omega-3 supplements. # Supplement with care. Be aware that supplements such as folate, vitamins C and E, and beta-carotene do not prevent heart disease and so should not be taken for that purpose. # If you smoke, quit! Look for such options as nicotine-replacement medications and smoking-cessation counseling.

POPSYour MasterCard or Your Life! I think I read in that new bankruptcy law that the banks are allowed to "knee-cap" you if you don't make the payments. Also, they are now allowed to charge as much interest as they want.......wait a minute!......they have been allowed to do that all along now!.......even without the new law. Oh well!.....just as long as we get rid of all these deadbeats! Maybe they will die or something.......
