POPSThe Truly Lost Generation To escape LRA raids on underprotected refugee camps, tens of thousands of children walk miles each night to towns and cities. The plight of these "night commuters" was documented in Invisible Children , a film by three San Diego college students. The history, politics, and religion of the LRA and its conflicts with both Uganda and southern Sudan are complex, and often inexplicable, affairs. In the end, however, the persistent question remains, stark and unignorable.
