POPS The Sell-Phone Revolution Already, mobile services use area codes, Zip Codes, and even Global Positioning System (GPS) data to return results for nearby businesses in response to a search for, say, coffee shops. The next step is to serve an ad for a steaming cup of java on a mobile Web page just as the cell-phone Web surfer is passing a Starbucks (SBUX ). Within five years, online ad networks such as TACODA and Specific Media Inc. plan to apply behavioral techniques"using surfing data"to target ads to broadband-enabled digital television. It's not hard to imagine the day when multiple TVs tuned to the same channel in the same household will serve up different ads. "There is no question behavioral targeting will be a major component of television," says Dave Morgan, TACODA's founder and chairman. POPSThe East Coast Condo Bible I just found the mother load of east coast condo living, quite by accident, at that! Every year my hubby and I make the journey to our favorite condo destination for two weeks of nothing but GLORY. We go to our condo in Perdido Key, Gulf Shores. We call it "Our Blue Heaven". White sand. Clean beaches. Good Neighbors. Lately, our vacation time has come later in the year during inclement weather. I was looking for an affordable place to take a holiday...and poof - I found the honey-pot of all condo living sites. This company has few places to rent that are near and dear to my heart like "ILoveFolly Beach.com" - what a find. It's like the east caost condo bible. Everything you always wanted to know about traveling to a southern beach vacation condo...and then some.

POPSThe theory of the long tail
Interesting article which explains the concept of the long tail. For me as for others, its obvious and relates to every daylife, actually even us here at clipmarks are part of this reality. I read stuff and comment on what others say, but these people are distributed around the globe, and if I look at my immediate surrounding, friends and family, only few if at all are interested in same stuff like me, so although the long tail theory relates directly to distribution and marketing, I think it relates also to more aspects of our life, even if only as analogy. One more comment, as the theory is for real, content from the glob find itself to us, and distribution channels are created all the time, there is demand and there is supply, but its not the case (not for the short term at least) for video, where the content provider guard it, and will prevent its distribution in alternative channles, as long as they can, but even if they will let go, the distribution lines are not there,
