     The german GEMA (ASCAP/BMI) tries to stop Rapidshare, a german share hoster service, because of copyright offenses. This would possibly be an extreme obstruction for other user generated content services like youtube and myspace.

     Sort of like semacoding. Print barcode-like labels and stick them to things. Then photograph them with your cameraphone, upload them to the web, and decode them; they function like hyperlinks. MyTago can even OCR text from photos.

      New forum system thats nearing the end of development, vennt has completely got rid of top level categories and has put the user in control of the discussions. The system also has a nice approach to design opting for a clean and simple design and a strong information hierarchy which goes against the most popular existing software which favours plenty of shiny buttons and statistics crammed into every last inch of whitespace on the screen.
