POPSlook who made bail while we talk about "stimulus" checks, at $300/person, that are supposed to "stimulate" the economy - helpful? wasteful? - the current Wall St. plan amounts to $10,000 for every man, woman and child. All it does is allow greedy people to cash out and keep their shirts. "Let the market decide," indeed - they decided they want our money.

POPSPolitics as Tarot cards "One notes that it would be tempting to put the Republican Nominee on this list at a couple of places, but one fears that the Secret Service has little understanding of the esoteric meanings of certain cards and even less of a sense of humour in these matters. This is their job, and it’s ok. I recognise that this list could easily be written from the other side of the aisle with a lot of changes save I doubt Mr McCain would fit in the “Fool” slot."

POPSMcCain: "I really didn't love America" funny how Faux news derides Michelle Obama (out of context) for "for the first time...I am proud of my country," but actually _edits_out_ McCain making similar statements.

POPSMcFlip-Flop Why does the mainstream corporate media give McCain a free ride with regard to his changing his position on just about everything, as long as it suits him?
