Paris Hilton was freed from jail Thursday morning, just three days after she began serving what was to be a 23-day sentence for violating probation, according to celebrity Web site TMZ.com.
She has roughly 3 weeks before the hearing, but my instincts tell me some miraculous thing will keep this socialite away from a jail cell. As usual, if I were presiding over any of these reckless acts my immediate ruling would be guilty and the maximum penalty imposed. Paris, Nicole Richie, Brandy, Mel Gibson…the list could go on all day, which means it’s now time something is done to put the scare in Hollywood. What do you think?
