About me
My favorite movies:
http://imdb.com/mymovies/list?l=26810778

Interests:
Social Responsibility, modeRn communication, environmental and animal protection, development of society, "the big picture", intercultural understanding (incl. values and tolerance), and practical philosophy.

I am an entrepreneur, focusing on implementing a modern framework for "collaborative entrepreneurship"; establishing socially responsible businesses that contribute a share of the (commercial) profit to local charities.
Why I use Clipmarks
I use Clipmarks.com in order to both be informed through collaborative news clipping and bookmarking, and to collect newsbits in a convenient and efficient way, as basis for providing my own news feed source to my own and other's web sites. And to network and get to know new people, particularly ones that share my interests.

the last number I've heard was that Yahoo's Flickr service receives over 2.000 new photos per minute these days... There is a special "most popular last 7 days" "photo stream" there that is simply awsome - sooo many great new photos each day. Quite dangerous, timewise... Addictive.

Nothing stays "secure" - nothing _is_ totally secure either. No other option than paying attention and upgrading every now and then. The biggest challenge over time is how we will deal with old "secure" backups when they most likely can be cracked further down the line. That is indeed something to be aware of when considering using online services for backups of really sensitive data, even if they are protected by "advenced encryption".
