About me
I grew up in South Philly, went to St. Joe's Prep, skipped senior year and had a full scholarship to Temple University. My parents died when I was 19, and I never finished College. I got married, had two wonderful children, but got divorced. Got married again, and still happily married to Charlene. Was in the Insurance business for twenty years, got liver disease, and almost died. Received a new liver on Feb. 13, 2002. I went back to College, and graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies on May 15, 2004. Got a job @ Vanguard on Nov. 15, 2004. Now I'm starting Graduate School on Jan. 17, 2007. Going for a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership. This has been a survivors adventure, and it's just begun !
UPDATE!!! Finished Master's Degree with a 4.0 GPA. Graduation Ceremony set for May of '09.

The One Voice Education Leadership Council of Glenside, PA recently started a fund raising campaign to help young people in Liberia get computer training to help them become employable. They did this by also helping the planet by selling and planting trees in deforested areas of the world.

Transplanted Organs "Remember" Their Donor
thisnamecantbetaken
by thisnamecantbetaken  7-20-2007    10
Where do memories reside? This is so weird! It's actually pretty creepy, I reckon. A 29-year-old lesbian and a fast food junkie received a heart from a 19-year-old woman vegetarian who was "man crazy." The recipient reported after her operation that meat made her sick and she was no longer attracted to women. If fact, she became engaged to marry a man. The whole article is well worth the read.

The "Noosphere" - Teilhard de Chardin's vision for the Internet

Is Chardin's vision of the "global network of collective mind" being realized today via the World Wide Web? Can Clipmarks play a role in the creation of a global brain? Great questions to ponder with some red wine on a friday night.
